If I had to guess those prints are final. All the time and effort that they put into the plans was so they didn't need to make last minute changes. Why do you ask?

Since prints are posted before the construction has reached that area I was wondering how accurate the have been so far.

The two prints I posted are from the final revision of the Architectural set, (There is also a structural set, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, Fire protection, Security, Landscaping, etc.).

From there the respective contractors make shop drawings based on the set or sets of drawings mentioned above. The shop drawings are reviewed and any changes or corrections are made. The building is constructed using the final approved shop drawings.

On a building this size there are bound to be changes made during construction. Any changes to the shop drawings are made and they move on.

Sometimes they even have what's called "As Built" drawings. Something got done that doesn't match any of the prints, but it works out, so they just issue a print showing what actually exists.

There really isn't a "Final" set of prints.

I got hassled the other day by security for having a camera on site. I damn near smacked the guy with my written signed and sealed authorization for having one and taking pics "as needed at the bidders discretion for the work order stated here in". (For the non-lawyers it gave me permission to take pictures of what ever I damn well thought was needed for the work I was expected to bid on.) (Cart blanch!)

I signed a non-disclosure agreement, fingerprints, background check ($268) and they still give me grief.
I can only only imagine what they would put "civilians" through.

Yeah, from that video posted in the last page they mention that the amount of workers will go from 2000 (current amount) to about 10,000!!! Which is an impressive amount of workers at one site. Then again, the construction site is freakin epicly massive.

According to the 9/11 Museum, the two tridents came from the eastern face of the North Tower directly behind the temporary stage that was set up for the summer.Interesting to know exactly where they stood.

Ground Zero was still smoldering when plans were hatched to rebuild where the twin towers once stood - and show Osama Bin Laden we were not broken.

Nothing rose from The Pit in the first years after the tragedy. Workers collected bodies. Mourners wept. And New York's scar, the nation's scar, remained an open wound.

By 2004, the rubble was cleared and construction workers descended down the ramp that rescue workers once used to bring up the living and the dead.

Five years later, nearly a dozen construction cranes could be seen rising from soil...

Now the Freedom Tower, the $3.2 billion, 1,776-foot answer to the terrorists, has reached the 36th floor.

A pair of iconic steel tridents that stood watch over the ruins for many months have made a triumphant return.

Start Curtain Wall Installation

This represents the start of activities to support the placement of curtain wall above the 20th story level of 1WTC. Beginning activity will include the installation of hangers on the 1WTC structural steel and be followed by the placement of the curtain wall panels themselves. The curtain wall will enclose the building and trail the Cocoon system as it rises with the erection of the Structural steel.

That's what I'm wondering myself. I've seen renders with the glass for 1WTC being grey, sliver, light blue, soft green, soft green/blue (depending on the light) and now this render seems to show dark blue. Does anyone know for sure what color is going to be? This is the "supposed" mock-up, but I think it's from years ago. I guess who knows what the final product is going to look like.

Right, I agree. The picture is taken kind of in the shadows. It looks green to me, but I guess a neutral blue might be closer. We'll see. I think 7WTC's glass is wavier, this looks very clear.
