It's just missing the tridents. The original Twin Towers facade had the horizontal and vertical lines crossing each other. They should add tridents to the new base too. It would help remind people a bit on what was lost.

Well Tower 1 WTC has to surpass Empire State Building to be tallest in NYC, cause by passing the BOA Tower wont make it tallest.

Last time I checked, the BOA tower had a roof height of 945 ft. The WTC is currently over 1,100 ft high.. Just a few more feet and it passes 1,200! (the antenna spire height)

This buildings most striking feature may end up being how it catches the light at different times of the day, especially sunset. The reflection may end up being quite blinding.

^^^To be frank it can be tough to look at this building from a few angles during parts of the day. Around 11:00 or so light reflects off the building and if you're standing on the steps of 1 liberty plaza or on the sidewalk in front of century 21 on Church Street then the light is literally blinding and you're sort of forced to look away, a problem that will be alleviated with the arrival of 175 Greenwich. The same goes for the stretch of Vesey street just north of tower 2, where sometimes the light is just glaring off the building, and the walkway becomes totally illuminated, but it becomes virtually impossible to look at the building.

LOL...a blog is not a reputable source...research 101. This is the primary reason why our country has a culture of believing whatever it hears. Delivery is in 2013 or early 2014. :rolleyes:

I wouldn't trust any of it man. 1 WTC is going to be finished by 2013/14.

Why not? It seems pretty true. I mean, look it at it, it's almost topped, probably in December and January and from there the glass and antennae need to be put in. Complete means the whole structure is done, not including all the offices, bathrooms, decor, etc

I guess that could be true,but the rest of that blog was talking about nonsense.
