I think opinions will differ depending on what circles you are in. If you are in a group of extroverted friends and family, then there will certainly be a demand to go back to normal. If you are an introvert, there will be less of a demand. Both are fine, and we shouldn't be shaming anyone.

I think there will be (largely) a reversion to what was normal before, with a few changes. I think there will be a push for more flex working from home in many industries (not full WFH, but the option of flex). I think there will be less physical contact in the workplace (shaking hands, etc). More (hopefully) acceptance of wearing a mask if you aren't feeling well or it's peak flu season, etc.

In terms of business/spending changes, I think we'll see a very large initial surge of spending from the middle/upper-middle class who has been saving money during the pandemic, secure in their jobs. At the same time, I think that there will still be a long-term negative impact in the working class jobs being gone (and not fully returning) due to spending habits shifting even more to online shopping, etc. This is the biggest challenge we will face, I think.
