The school? Yes, all new school builds are at least two storeys in height. The most-recent (Argyle/St. Pius) was two storeys for public, and three for Catholic, and it's also the case for the new joint use on North Broad.

I went over to check on the Rosewood Avana project this evening. They should be able to finish the roadwork within 2 weeks and move onto construction. There is a plot directly north of there that is the subject of a rezoning application for a low rise development. The plan is to move the storm pond that is currently there.

Towards the bottom of this article it mentions 220 Coopertown lots could be ready next year if approved by council next week. First of 320 new Westerra lots getting started by fall. First of 400 in Westbrook by 2027, I haven't heard that name before not sure where it is, but given the subject of the article I'd assume the NW.

Probably the biggest growth story out of Regina in the last 10 years.

The Regina Baseball Stadium Feasibly Report was recently released. The interesting takeaway is that it looks like Semple and Simpson want all of The Yards for development to then privately own and maybe build the stadium. It is unclear what exactly they would do with this land and how much they would actually invest. Ideally development of The Yards could start to move forward very soon, but I think a new Brandt Centre at some point would better serve as its centerpiece for all year usability. Otherwise the aim of developing dense housing and usable public space there would be ideal in the near term IMO.

I agree that an arena makes way more sense. The Red Sox are great but they are in a summer league for college kids. They only have about 20 home games per year. Baseball stadiums are not well suited for multipurpose uses and take up a lot of land. This would be a great waste of prime land IMO. The former Mosaic Stadium site would be better suited.

Yes, and the $30 million in federal/provincial money provided for the Dewdney construction is contingent on a certain amount of housing being built on the Yards.

And the so called "feasibility study" should be relabelled as "marketing promo" because that's about the level of substance in the document.

Year 2 of 5 of the $100 million south sewage expansion kicks off today. A short stretch under Wascana Creek west of McCarthy to the RCMP depot grounds.

I'm assuming they bumped up the numbers due to there not being any street parking within about 500m+. I doubt there would be many times when staff + visitors would exceed the parking they've allocated, however.

Earlier in the week I noticed work started on the last unpaved section of the path along Prince of Wales, Truesdale to Arens. It is supposed to be some sort of rubber surface along there, not sure why.

The section from Woodhams to Truesdale was paved this year. That will give it a solid surface from Wascana Gate to Dewdney. I wish that path went to the top end of Glencairn, there's a twin tire rut dirt path from Dewdney to 7th Ave. A few people drive off road as a shortcut to the unnamed road at the east end of Dewdney. https://maps.app.goo.gl/aUfSsjd6ff8yZzgx7 There's another tire track path along the tracks north of Glencairn which makes a nice way to get to the east end of the city from the west. I just take 4th through Eastview to Park, a little jaunt down Ross and carry the bike over the tracks at Fleet if there isn't a train parked there.

Wednesday morning I saw that Arens road is getting connected from Woodland Grove to Chuka Blvd, it will be a nice additional access point for that area.

Video circling around the SaskPower building. I flew over to the cardlock site from SaskPower, then going around the back side of SaskPower on the way back, that flight with the 2nd battery was 7.77 km. The drone has 118 km on it since I got it earlier in the year.
