I wouldn't either, but twenty to thirty years of growth and Regina will probably be somewhere between 300k to 350k. A new hockey arena in the rail or on Broad, or a baseball stadium. With the stadium close by and they still have sixty years of a monopoly. To me that's pharmaceutical company ridiculous.
I had heard that YQR had an 80 year lease but I can't confirm that

YQR had a 40 year lease with 2, 20 year options (80 total). New entity has 50 year lease with 2, 20 year options (90 total) at much reduced net rent.
Edit: YQR was supposed to pay $10psf net with annual escalators. Semple entity won't pay $10 until 2066-75. This will be about $2.28 psf equivalent assuming inflation of 3%/year.

They were installing steel trusses on the north Albert bridge tonight. Westerra project chugging along. No work on the Harbour Landing school yet, but the road work should wrap up in a week or two. The sidewalks on Campbell are quite wide. https://www.flickr.com/photos/regina...7720325409071/
I just checked the bridge project page and the trusses will go up on the other side tomorrow evening, I might head over for a time lapse of a lift if it isn't too windy.
They hadn't started lifting when I was over there Friday evening. Looking at the hourly forecast, they probably planned to start after 9 when the wind was supposed to die down. They repaved the part of the road they had crane on yesterday.
A few shots from this evening. Completed steel lift for North Albert bridge. Argyle School expansion stacked, there were pouring concrete floors in them when I was past there Friday. Beavers in AE Wilson Park built a new island.
And from Tuesday morning, took a few shots of the Glen Elm Trailer Park. And the finished Quance Coop Liquor store since I was in the area.
I should be able to get pictures of quite a few spots Wednesday evening along the route to the southeast I'm planning to take. I haven't been the SE in a few weeks.
PTI pulled a $3 million permit las week for a foundation for a new office building at their facility at 1155 Park St.
Also there was a $1.1 million permit for some sort of sports facility at Chuka Business Park.
Westridge posted a pic on their instagram a few days ago of piling in progress for PTI production expansion and mentioned their will be 546 piles for the slab. There's mention of their expansion in this article that was totally randomly recommended to me on my Chrome new tab page after viewing that IG post. https://www.westerninvestor.com/brit...pects-10751091

The City's database says: 520-Office building; consultant’s office, doctor’s office, insurance company, bank, taxi stand, office/cafeteria, office/smoke shop
I launched the drone 8 separate times while I was out tonight, though 2 were a 100 feet apart because I didn't notice construction on Ross until I packed up and started moving. Northbound Park is getting a median separated turn lane onto eastbound Ross, Ross might get an extra lane over to the Ring Road ramp. The PTI expansion is right next to that big warehouse on Park that was built 2 years ago.
Roofs finished on both new water reservoirs and they are starting to paint a black sealer on the exterior concrete walls. Underground parking columns getting done on the Neville Drive condo project, all the outer walls done. The smaller project across the street has all the screw piles installed. Westerra is getting an expansion south of the apartments.

According to allsaskatchewan.com the PTI expansion is worth $55 million.
This is going to be a great asset to the community and a great to see a lot o developments getting rid of all those parking lots, again thank you for sharing.
One layer of pavement left to add for roads around new Harbour Landing School site. Road work started for the Long Term Care facility. Work ongoing at the SE corner of Harbour Landing. Took a few shots of the community garden near the university since I flew from there instead of riding over to Sask Poly.
