^^^^ I envy the pictures you and Bulliver take so much. If i were to ever be given some type of photography gift it would be to take pictures at night. I love all the colors that are captured. You two take photo's that make me drool. Any time either of you are giving lessons let me know and i will have to hop on a plane, I'll bring some beer.

Gorgeous photos both bulliver and ayreonaut.

Ay: I really like the look of the second, has some nice shades in it and I love the contrast of the shiny metal and the old wood.

Bul: You don't even need to put that gorgeous black border around your photos, seems each one you upload could easily be in a movie on it's own.

^ I agree. i was about to comment on that as well. If I took a photo of graffiti and a sofa the result would not be as interesting.

It's an automatic, but I can slide it over into a semi-standard of sorts. Then I can change gears like a standard, but don't have to clutch.

I love gears(stickshift).....being stuck behind a car
on a bendy road,waiting for a straight then drop down
to 3rd gear and Vroooooom -overtake and up the

Looking Northeast, about a mile and a half from where I lived from ages 8 - 22. If you go about an hour west of here, it starts to get really flat and stays like that for a couple hundred miles.

I was about to delete this photo, I still have no idea how it came about, probably wound up clicking the shutter while I was setting up for the next shot, but there's something about it--which I can't put my finger on--that makes it feel pretty good. :shrug: What do you think?

I liked this store display, so I stopped to take a picture and I noticed that my friend had stopped to wait for me and was unknowingly positioned perfectly to have his reflection fill one of the boxes.

My first real portrait, of a friend. That I got it so good was a fluke: I need to find out what I did right to get start getting good portraits consistently. Perhaps it's aggravated by the pose-or-hide mentality, when what I want is something that looks natural.

Ha ha! Thanks Hammer. I have found a more candid approach works better. Whenever I have someone stop and actually pose for me, it turns out horrible. I prefer to grab a quick snap when the subject has their guard down...
