A small destroyed downtown in some little podunk I dont remember the name of right now southeast of Little Rock out in the delta region.

Pottsville, a "suburb" of Russellville. All of the buildings in this photo are owned by The Pope County Historic Society and they are in the process of restoring them all and turning them into a museum.

I have been trying to get that exact photo for years now, but the lights around those buildings at night, I could never get the white balance to expose them correctly. Now that I have the D7000, I just put it on auto white balance and it turned out exactly the way I wanted it too.

Flying over Iceland was surreal. I flew over a freshly paved solitary road and it looked like what I imagined a colony on Mars would look like.

Heres a random photo I took of a Ford Model B? way up in the Ozarks in an abandoned town called Lost Corner.

Ford Model B isn't a common find, although that one has been pretty well stripped. The Model B was, as the name suggests, successor to the Model A. I believe it was produced for only one model year, 1932. Like the A it had a four-cylinder engine, and I don't think it differed much from the A except that it was built a little heavier, with a stronger crankshaft. Somewhere I have an original repair manual but I'm not exactly sure of myself on all the info; the B engine may have been an A engine redesigned for use in trucks.

The B quickly was overshadowed by the V8, introduced the same year. Neither car differed a lot, style-wise, from the A. When I was small, my aunt had a sporty '32 V8 roadster that I remember riding in. It was tan with chocolate-brown fenders and light yellow wheels, and had a chrome radiator shell.

I wouldn't be surprised if the engine, transmission, and radiator from that car went to build a tractor. Mail-order catalogs offered kits to build inexpensive farm tractors using the power train from four-cylinder Fords, from the Model T through the Model B. Some of them worked reasonably well.

Ive been trying to get this picture for four years and with all this crazy weather and rain weve been getting this area finally had enough water to produce some kick ass waterfalls. This is up in the Ozarks from today. To get a photo like this is why I moved to this craphole town in the first place and now I only have two weeks left, I remember again why I wanted to come here. It still was a huge mistake, but damn, this is a beautiful state, just full of some very backwards people which makes it intolerable. But, if you wanted to come up here for scenery on a vacation, its awesome for that.

It's called Reflections @ Keppel Bay. It's a condominium along the Keppel bay coast of Singapore. The location is pretty close to Sentosa. :)
