Cowen Construction has posted a video of drone shots of the project.
It's a few weeks old, but still fairly current.
Gives a good look at the cladding material from different angles.

This is a mixed-used development (office/residential) for a thin plot of land next to the Walker Building on 12th Street in Midtown.

Walcourt

The roof appears to be completely finished.
Windows are still being worked on.

Would love to see some interior pics to see how that is coming along
(it was in very bad shape at the beginning of restoration).

Page Woodson

They are currently working on Phase 3 of this lengthy project.
This will bring new housing, including affordable units, to the area.

The foundations of the new buildings are taking form.

It appears they have decided to go to a dark brick color for the exterior, unlike that shown in the rendering:

I like the darker brick color, so the change is fine with me.

Renovation of a historic old apartment building at NW 38th & Classen into a boutique hotel.
This includes new units being constructed around the original structure.

I wanted to say thank you very much for updates on OKC development! I have always loved going through the city but haven't been back in such a long time! I love the aerial photos and hope the city gets more density and highrise development through its core!!! As a young man I used to drive with my Grandfather from LA to Southern Illinois and ALWAYS LOVED OKC AND ITS FIREWORKS SUPERMARKET!!!! IS IT STILL THERE???? I SWEAR I HAVE SOME PHOTOS SOMEWHERE OF THE TALL BUILDINGS OF EVERY CITY ALONG THE ROUTE FROM THE MID-LATE 80s AND EARLY 90s! I ALWAYS loved tall buildings and still do obviously! Anyway enough said! Thank you very much one last time to all who contribute here!!!!

Pete Brzycki, who owns and manages OKCTalk, takes the bulk of pics, including aerial shots, that I use. He does an unbelievable job of reporting on all the development activity in OKC and take photos of the progress nearly continuously. He's a machine.

Of course, there are others too. I'm grateful for all the enthusiasts in the area who chronicle the happenings around town.

I have no idea about the fireworks market. I haven't been to a fireworks stand since I was a kid, accompanying my dad. I imagine that it's not the same availability in this day and age of tighter regulations.

As for tall buildings... I love 'em too. But now doesn't seem to be a good time for building towers in OKC. The most likely candidates for funding them are oil and gas companies -- and that whole sector is in a slowdown right now with consolidations and downsizing. But I keep hoping for good news around the corner.

The interior is coming along nicely - and the surrounding landscaping is taking shape as well.

This is looking really sharp.
Not bad for a 100 year old building.

And even when this is finished, there'll be a ton of activity across the street.
The new Level East apartments will begin construction later this year.

Peerson, once again, great stuff! OKC is essentially the only place in Oklahoma carrying the state forward at this time. Every other metro except Lawton is loosing jobs and population unfortunately and that includes Tulsa. Hopefully OKC can stay on fire long enough for other cities in the state to get their shit together.

I really do appreciate the amount of work you put into these posts! I am in town and I plan on going around town and getting some pictures of a few projects.

My top favorite projects ATM are Oak, Rother Shrine, Lincoln Plaza, First National Center, and Coope Ale Armory Redevelopment. PS the last development(State Armory) took a step forward as it was given a historical designation. Per Pete of OKCTalk, permits have been filed.

My favorite projects are any that are actually under construction.
Renderings are nice, but there's nothing like seeing cranes and hard hats in action.
