Seriously, given that UBC, and Point Grey west of Alma, is an escarpment of which the western tip and UBC are part, gives rise to the question of "What's the escarpment geology?"
Is it a granite plateau - in which case forget digging - is it large boulders, strata (clay rock earth, for example, or what? If possible, I'd love to the western line there in a tunnel. With a deep station.
Escalators going deep, as at Granville Station. Lighting effects, fantastic art on the walls and in and at the station, elegant stations and platforms, ... (excuse me, just a dream sort of, but I'd love to see it anyway.)
