In all honesty I believe that the L-Line LRT would have never been cancelled if the LRT supporters didn’t push LRT onto the Fraser extension to Langley as well, especially without any public consolations. This is what really angered people I think. The sneaky nature of deciding the technology for the project. This election was the public’s chance to voice their opinion, and they chose Skytrain.
