But in general, hotels are pretty pricey in Regina (relatively speaking of course). The occupancy rate is pretty high generally, so they can get away with keeping prices high.

Cool, thanks guys. We will probably end up staying at a hotel outside of the core it looks like, but I have no problem taking the bus to downtown. My partner and our friends have a curling bonspiel they're competing in, that's why we're going to Regina. I'm basically just going along for the ride, as I've never been to Regina and really want to see the city.
