Nice to see The Pearl peaking above the tower in front of it now coming down Groat Road in the mornings. Can't wait to watch this one rise up!

drove by it yesterday...fifth or six floor. finally starting to rise.

I wonder how the construction of the building is going to affect the bus stop that is basically right in front of the site. I use that every day when I'm going home from school.

Yess pearl coming along at turtle speed but its gettin'r'dun!!! If ultima gets going real soon here, I don't see other developers will ever be able to put out mediocre products anymore. Demand for exceptional prducts will rise.

Any inside scoop on the Qualico tower? Is the picture just a real early concept for what the company desires or is there some actual planning going down in the back end of things?

As such the parking on site A in front of proposed office A needs to be reconsidered,
reduced, and/or repositioned;
· A redesign of the amenity space adjacent to Blackmud Creek is required. The amenity space
has a residential quality that is in contrast with the proposed office A architecture. The
amenity space would benefit from better integration into the natural environment and the
modern architecture of office A;

I told Reza not to use either name... I guess I need to call him again. As for this project, I quite like the podium and the tower massing is ok, but tower separation is not acceptable and the above likewise. Overall I think it will be an ok development but Ultima will still shine.

1bdrm 1bath starting from $197,000 !!!!!!!!!!!!! Likely 450-500sqft, but that is perfect for a 1st time buyer.

2bdrms starting from the mid $250s. Awesome!

Sales starting end of this month.

Tempted to take a look at a mid level 2bdrm

I know two people in our office that are ready to buy and this is right in their price point... both are seriously considering Ultima... but are waiting to see shovels before committing to anything

Regecny seems to have the winning formula.... get in the ground and show some progress to assure buyers that the project is indeed a go, then start selling. I know I'd never lay money down on an empty lot with promises that construction is "just around the corner"
