Old and new:

More English Bay stuff:

Shangri-La, looming and stuff:

You don't see a car like this everyday. Maybe just every week. I took a pic of a similar one in Gastown last weekend:

These are pictures I finally got around to posting, some are from the summer and some are more recent. Sorry for the shitty quality of them they were all taken from my camera phone but its better than nothing!

Really fuzzy but you can see the size of woodwards...

this one looks like it could be a card - like it used special lenses to create the "romantic haze" look

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but us Vancouver mods are going to be cracking down on improperly sourced photos in an attempt to step our game up a notch.

Here is the official policy on posting photos:

Quote:
Proper crediting format for each found photograph: directly above or below the photo, list the photographer's name, the name of the source, and give a link to the page upon which the photo is found.

If the photographer's name is not available, name the website where the photo was found and link to the page of the site where the photograph is found.

Merely citing Google, Flickr, Wikipedia or some other host or search engine is *not* sufficient for your photo post to qualify. If you don't have the required information about a photograph, then don't post it.
All posts that do not adhere to these rules will be deleted on sight.

Now lets keep these purdy photos coming.

Just off The Drive:

Crazy bike in front of this coffee shop:

Ah yes, when it's nice out in Van, it's REALLY nice!

An old house located in a semi-industrial area...Not the greatest view but if you look over those large silos, you can see the North Shore Mountains at least!

Now they're tagging trees! Poor trees....

Signs of spring!

That's Metrotown in Burnaby way over yonder:

haha, take that Jehovas!

Where would that shot be taken from? Somewhere in Stanley Park? or the North Shore?

When are they going to be finished the building? just to the right of the balconies there are mullions of some sort but they seem to be missing on some floors or incomplete. Its not supposed to be like that right?

Thanks for the kind words, everybody. I took that pic last summer on the Lions Gate Bridge (at the north end).
