NEW YORK CITY | B-sides

Took a bit longer than I thought to get this posted, but anyway... These are some leftovers from my NYC trip earlier this summer. For the better pics check out the A-sides in this thread.

After the disappointing news about 440 Park, this made me feel much better! That must be one happy bicycle seat!

Wow we really did cover all the same places. I definitely remember this alley in the Village:

along with all of your harlem, flushing and bedford ave shots.

Oh yeah, before I forget... THESE ARE YOUR LEFTOVERS?!!?! This thread makes me feel incompetent on so many levels lol. Incredible job as always.

mama mia that's some seriously good shooting, not as epic as your A sides but nonetheless very good shots, love your warm brownish colours and don't get me started how much I love those elevated subway shots, too bad you didn't get a photo of that awesome viaduc that's located near Harlem(close to Columbia university near the orginal Seinfeld diner)

I believe that's MacDougal Alley off Washington Square. I always feel guilty when I walk down this corridor, like I'm really not "allowed" to. I think it's owned by NYU. And why not, they seem to be devouring everything else in the neighborhood. We need more "elite" educational oppotunities for the privileged classes. BTW, these photos are indeed spectacular.

Close - it's actually Washington Mews on the other side of 5th Ave

A very good friend of mine is moving to Manhatten on Friday (Going to Fordham University). Considering I've spent a very limited time in NYC (Flew into JFK, did a couple hours of touristy things before flying down to the Carolinas), this thread is getting me pumped up about my inevitable visit to this monstrosity of a city.

And just like real B-Sides there are quite a few hidden gems for the serious fan of your work. Great work. Do you get any of your New York or Portland or Phoenix or Seattle photos hung up or on display in your house? Seems like you could have a wicked urban paradise with many of these photos on display.
