Unless you're from what is now Grand Est, I'm willing to bet I've spent more time in that region than you.

Also, asserting that hypermarkets aren't exactly known for their food quality is hardly a hot take. You're claiming that industrial scale bakeries routinely produce higher quality food than family-owned small-batch enterprises, which is pretty silly.

A French boulangerie, on average, will have much higher quality products than the French version of Costco/Sams Club.
