Me neither. There's some pretty good authentic regional Mexican cuisine to be had in southern California. I eat plenty of Mexican food in the Los Angeles area, none of it Tex-Mex. I got the receipts!

And what's up with New Brisavoine saying Mexican cuisine is "not super sophisticated"?? It's very sophisticated; it has complex multilayered flavors, and complex preparation techniques. It's even on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list. And chili sauce? Does he mean salsa?
And what's this about not being able to get good authentic Chinese food in North America? New Brisavoine has obviously never been to the San Gabriel Valley!
