That's about 800 buses. But with Stage 2 complete, they should need less than 500 buses to deliver their schedule. So are they planning on retiring all the Nova LFS Diesels early? I would think they should try to sell those and get an additional 100 artics instead. The fleet would shrink to 650. But they would have a much newer fleet and a lot more higher capacity buses. And even with 650, they should be able to run a bit more service than they do today.
OC Transpo only has about 79 double deckers. 75 of them were retired a couple of years ago.
