Worse, council hasn't learned a thing. They ordered 50 articulated diesels for next year. They probably need 100-150 articulated buses delivered over the next 3 years.

The vast majority of the articulated buses in the fleet would have been ~10-11 years old in 2021. They've only gone past their expected service lives in the past year.
There are a few dozen older ones, but a number of them received structural rebuilds heading into 2020.
