The difference between the left and the right (still useful terms, even if they carry a more cultural than economic sense these days) is that the left either truly believes, or tactically wants their base to believe, that conservatives can all be tarred with the same brush, such that many would believe that a tasteless meme like this accurately reflects the general temperament of the there-be-dragons knuckle-draggers supporting Poilievre.

But these days conservatives know the left/liberals and their positions better than the opposite, owing to the institutional capture of the Great Awokening over the last decade. They've been forced to kowtow to arrogant power structures that never deign to investigate, much less dialogue with, contrary positions. And so you have a spectacle like this, on SSP, where the image above gets passed off as typically conservative. Meanwhile, the painfully idiotic sentiments below
aren't restricted to raving lefty loons calling to dismantle capitalism so that trans people can rescue Palestine, but rather, are the stock in trade for ABC people with degrees and mortgages and teenaged children who otherwise can be very nice.
I've literally heard varying versions of the below from family members I care deeply about who either vote NDP or, as it looks like this time, strategically Liberal:

The FBI just arrested a Circuit Court Judge for no reason, and now she sits in a prison, without any charges announced. This is headed our way, if the Conservatives attain power.
A vote for Poilievre is a vote for fascism.
A vote for Carney is a vote for Democracy.
Choose wisely, my fellow Canadians.

On another tack, it's amusing seeing the potshots at the part of Poilievre's platform about wokeness. Dismantling it is going to be somewhat like the People's Front of Judea taking on the apparatus of the state of Rome, so no, strictly speaking it's not the most pressing concern at the moment. But this idea that it's, what, a phantom of the hyper-active conservative imagination? That's positively bonkers.
Because, have a look at this. The legitimate requirements for the job are in red. The rest is woke.

If you...don't see any problem here, you might be a woke lefty-liberal with blinders on, or otherwise so loathe to admit that conservatives might be right about something that you feel compelled to stick your fingers in your ears and chant "la-la-la nothing to see here."
There are many such examples.
