Trump has shown pretty convincingly that the general public doesn't care about these controversy and giving in to public pressure just makes you look weak especially to men.
The best thing to do is to double down and not talk about it again and after a week the public doesn't care anymore.
the case of Han dong is a perfect example of the public not caring after a couple of weeks about the issue.
If he decided to run again no one would care about the controversy.
