Except you have to ask yourself what did Carney promise Guilbault to get him to stay and the Vampire of Canadian politics, Gerry Butts, was at Rideau hall for Carneys investiture. Haven't Butts and Telford done enough to the Ontario and National Fiscal situation? My deep concern with Carney is that he is selling himself as the Adult in the Liberal Party and is an accomplished and maybe too calm technocrat to counter balance the Toddler at 1600.
Fine and dandy but I have the very solid gut feeling that Butts et Al will use Carny and the Trump crisis to really kill off Canadian industries that do not align with their deeply held Climate bias's. The community that these folks live in, think in and hope for does not include using Canada's deep resource base to enhance Canadian's opportunitys but is the crisis of opportunity to enact Climate mitigation dreams. Canadians be damned. Carny, Mark my words, will eventually retire to England.Hmmmm.
