It should be noted that it's typical for the PM to visit the GG on Sundays to kick off an election. HOWEVER if Carney waits until Sunday, the April 28th election date would be off the table.
Since getting the election finished ASAP is of the best interests for the Liberals, I would expect Carney to visit the GG either tomorrow or Saturday.
