Interchanges at: North end, PTH 23, south end.

I will say when checking the provincial property map, there is a right of way or something going westward at the south end where I show it splitting off. It at least looks like a right of way. So must have been some plans drawn up at some point.

This is the west dyke option from a few pages back.

I like the eastern route better because it's straighter. But is likely more complex.
