Seems like an akward place to put them though. Going from the south tunnel portal to the north (via snake hill) seems difficult for large trucks transporting the rails. I would think there are far better places in the Port Moody area to store them.
I guess the reason why I am thinking rails could be part of the construction was in
dpogue's pic, it seems they put the rails and its supporting bolts prior to a concrete pour...I guess that's how you do it in some circumstances. But its all speculation on my part...
