From reviewing the City's website, it appears the Armory Learing Arts Center (between Cramton Bowl and the Farmer's Market) is approx. 60,406 square feet... and it takes up a LARGE amount of real estate.

This new construction could have a negative impact on the parking for state employees who find it necessary to park in that lot. Easily half that lot is full on an given workday. Maybe this could spur the state to look at the poor parking situation at some of their capitol complex buildings. Probably not... but it is a consideration when such a large piece of the Cramton Bowl lot may be consumed.
I wish they would build this sports facility where the old rail yard was. The city already owns it. And it doesn't look like the state is going to build the Dept. of Human Resources campus there anymore. It's close to the E.D. and there's plenty of room for parking too.
