COVID restrictions lasted for like, a year. People very badly need to get over their hurt feelings about engaging in a collective effort to save lives, which is now getting to be pretty far in the rearview.

Cost of living, well, yeah, I get that. Too bad Poilievre is mostly good at peddling grievances over that, and appears to have very few practical solutions.
He said as soon as he took office that Canada is the first “post national” state. He said totalitarian China was the country he admired the most.

COVID travel restrictions lasted almost 3 years, from March 2020 to October 2022, over a year after vaccines were widely available and saving lives was a plausible objective. If you’re in your 20s that is a good chunk of your adult life.
