A Navigation Hub could soon open here to provide an opportunity for individuals experiencing chronic homelessness to be “intensely supported” until at least 2027, while Vancouver Coastal Health’s long discussed redevelopment plans for this site are finalized.

I have to admit that the steel columns and bolts are smaller than I would have anticipated for a building of this scale. Clearly, the structural engineers have signed off, but it's not quite what I was expecting.

I guess because there's so many steel columns the load is spread and they can use smaller hardware. I agree though, my (non-qualified) brain looks at it and thinks they should be bigger.
Anyone have an Update on the 1210-seymour-st Building? They demolished the old Building in the last couple of months. But left the original concrete slab but then work has stopped. Nothing over the last Month.

Just noticed driving by that they now have an Excavator on site. I assume they are getting ready to remove the concrete Slab. Not sure how far down they will go or if there will be any parking or not.
