I'd love to see Havana's Russian Embassy moved to Buffalo.

New Orleans' Plaza Tower would be sweet in Pittsburgh.

Great suggestion! It's also one of my favorite skyscrapers in Chicago and I agree it would look fantastic on Detroit's Deco-heavy skyline.

But I sure as shit wouldn't trade a big, bad-ass, broad-shouldered, behemoth like the Sears Tower for it.
How about the John Hancock Center?

In exchange for these fuglies:

Heck, for the Hancock, we'd even throw in these guys:

Even without the CN Tower, it is clear as day that Jacksonville has the much superior skyline (vs. Toronto).

Another triangular tower that would look better in San Francisco:

I would move those commie blocks to the retirement community of The Villages, Florida since they're so deathly afraid of communism taking over.

I think Denver needs that one.
  • A bit taller than Denver's current tallest
  • Earth tones
  • 80s
  • Vaguely recalls mountains
  • Denver's current tallest is also called "Republic Tower" so it fits right in

Speaking of Colorado, I'd steal Lynchburg, Virginia's Allied Arts Building and put it in Boulder:
  • Boulder needs a building in the 200' range to normalize tall buildings there
  • It's better if it's old so the NIMBYs can't say it's against the "historic character"
  • Lynchburg does not deserve it

Ah hell, let's talk Virginia too. It is embarrassing for Richmond that the two tallest buildings in its state are suburban. Richmond needs something pointy in the 500 foot range. So with apologies to San Diego, One America Plaza is moving to Richmond:

I would move the Wells Fargo Center in Denver, the "cash register building", to Houston.

I have to think about what building I would move to Wilmington.

Nah. The CN tower should go in Kenosha, obviously. Visible from high-rises in Milwaukee on a good day? And maybe from Sears/Willis in Chicago?

I would think that from the top of a hypothetical CN tower in Kenosha, both the Milwaukee skyline (30 miles) and the Chicago skyline (50 miles) would easily be seen on a clear day.

I mean, can you see the Hamilton skyline from the top of the CN Tower? That's 36 miles for reference.

That'd look great in Wilmington. Almost like a mini Liberty Place.
