The Southfield towers are pretty ugly and basically useless office space today. The way things have played out, it's honestly for the best they weren't built downtown.
I would steal the Carbide & Carbon building. Today it is nearly completely buried in Chicago with no good sight lines. Would look amazing in downtown Detroit.
But I sure as 🞵🞵🞵🞵 wouldn't trade a big, bad-🞵🞵🞵, broad-shouldered, behemoth like the Sears Tower for it.

Ah hell, let's talk Virginia too. It is embarrassing for Richmond that the two tallest buildings in its state are suburban. Richmond needs something pointy in the 500 foot range. So with apologies to San Diego, One America Plaza is moving to Richmond:
I would think that from the top of a hypothetical CN tower in Kenosha, both the Milwaukee skyline (30 miles) and the Chicago skyline (50 miles) would easily be seen on a clear day.
I mean, can you see the Hamilton skyline from the top of the CN Tower? That's 36 miles for reference.
