I wish that industrial block was redeveloped, but other than that this is one of the best TO skyline pics I've seen. Right up there with the top global players.

The real big city vibe exists at the street level, this Winter Toronto is busier and more happening than during our Summers just 3-4 years ago. It doesn't even feel like the same city anymore, thank god for that!

That is my favorite angle of Toronto as well.

I actually like having some industry in the foreground.

For me that adds a more big city feel than everything being condos.

Thats why I love the North East Vancouver skyline angle to best as well.

Lots of industrial / shipping texture in the foreground.

Are you lying to me!? Lol jk

Might come down for a visit this summer, been awhile.

Btw really liking these Van skyline shots more, those new tall towers are helping to define the core, the massive density and amazing natural scenery sure help too.

Don't worry, the redpath sugar plant in the foreground won't be developed for a long time! It depends highly on the port access for shipments of sugarcane from South America and is extremely important for Toronto's food processing industry. Not too many other places it can go in Ontario without paying a fortune to relocate. Note the wall on the condos to the west - that's there for a very specific reason! Although I don't get to do it often, biking down to sugar beach (across the quay to the east) and watching the ships unload is pretty awesome.

It's an awesome shot too.

Sigh
There hasn't been a day go by in 33 years that 64 storey FCCII hasn't at least crossed my mind.
(I know, I'm pathetic)
