No one counts the Calgary tower.

Yep. 16 built and another topped out. There is also one currently rising.

I don't think two more will break ground tomorrow. It could be sooner (2 or 3 years) rather than later (5 to 10 years). It could also be a decade plus. Right now, the most optimistic count is 18.

I'm guessing it's completely clear to allow for the crown lighting to be more visible. Once it's all enclosed I don't think it will look as insignificant. I'm guessing the glass going into the lobby level will be similar in that it is supposed to be clearer.
