I guess you're just going to ignore trespassing, which both myself and chowhou mentioned?

I have not watched the video, as I do not want to give that person any sort of monetization. I can fly a drone over your property and in general, it is legal.

Certainly you can't fly a drone into an open window though!

swimmer_spe do not watch his other video, Vert Blue's St-Paul's drone video, in that video he flies around, over and through the job site with tower cranes with load, workers below and pump truck unfurling, excellent stuff.
I think I'm trying to entice swimmer_spe to watch

You're a joke. The drone was not just flown over the construction site. If you could get over your self importance (that YouTuber won't make a cent from this video) you would know that.

If it breaks the law, why have you not reported it to the police?

Are our police really enforcing any laws?

What's wrong with you guys, COVID brain? Let's agree to disagree in this thread, then you can continue your unrelated argument in PMs if you so desire.

As someone who uses their drone on a regular basis, and really tries to be as respectful as possible to people and property, I'm not super stoked on what this person did. Because this is a public transportation construction project, flying inside is probably a gray area, but it won't go unnoticed, and leads to even more restrictive rules regarding drones and privacy.

If this was a private construction site, this person, if caught, would be in trouble for sure.

WE are talking on this thread about railroads underground and not aircraft well above ground, after all, but anyway, some aviation considerations ...
1) overflight, at altitude is not trespassing
2) low overflight, if seem to be irritating might be grounds for complaint (pubic disturbance kind if you buzz your neighbour's house)
BUT
3) flying through the doors of his barn (open at both ends of course) is ground for civil complaint and possibly criminal if your kids are playing on the floor in that barn.
AND
if you land on his property, that is trespassing.

Great shots.

It looks like crews are cleaning up the blocked southbound Cambie lanes north of Broadway. Maybe those will open soon, but the south side is still a deep pit.
