SEA has actually has had high number of connections to NRT. With the evening flight, it means both in and outbound connections are possible.

It might just be an error, but the YYC departure board for tomorrow lists 2 KLM departures.

The usual KL678 and then KL676 (which is YEG-AMS). The KLM website flight status also shows its making a 30 minute stop here, so maybe there's a planned stopover for whatever reason.

YYC has it planned for a domestic gate, so it has to be a gas-and-go - either YEG fuel or aircraft tech issue.

That is what the KLM agents told me. It was only scheduled to be on the ground for like 30 minutes.

AC put out a press release today. New routes and added frequencies were announced for Winter 2023 from Vancouver, Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa, Montréal, Québec City, and Halifax.

Zip, nada, nothing for YYC.

The way AC has been at YYC lately, I'd settle for maintaining what is there and no cuts - PHX, LAX, HNL, OGG, CUN, etc.

I actually don't even see PHX on the winter schedule anymore. I wonder if the second daily to YVR replaces the direct from YYC.

WestJet, Lynx, Flair & Porter Airlines in Canada have added more flights
✈️at Calgary YYC than AC combined the last several years & will continue to.

Air Canada will remain stagnant at YYC.

Yes, the second YVR flight even takes the flight number from the YYC flight.

Also, all the W23 changes are now bookable until Dec 15. The schedule after Dec 15 is currently being released for booking as I'm tying this (and this will take about 2 hours to complete). And from what's available, things are not looking too well for YYC-OGG, PVR, SJD, LAS, YHZ either. So you know where those YVR increases come from...

Not stagnant, more cuts. Most of the YVR frequency increases are coming from YYC being cut.

Maybe AC want to chase more premium traffic out of HNL rather than leisure traffic out of OGG?

YYZ-OGG also cancelled for W23. So AC will fly to YVR, YYC, YYZ from HNL, but only to YVR from OGG.

Yup PHX was cut and shifted to YVR. YHZ was cut too I think?

Please AC, please keep LAX/EWR/LHR/FRA. YYC please throw money at AC to keep these routes if they want to cut them lol
