Attendance for the gold medal game was a new record at Scotiabank Centre last night: 10735

The Avenir Centre does not have exactly 8800 seats, it's clearly less than that and most likely in the 8500 range that is stated on their website (Source: https://www.asmglobal.com/p/our-portfolio/arenas/avenir-centre)
Scotiabank Centre held 2,504 more people than Avenir Centre at their highest attended games.

And last night that was 2,504 x $200 = $500,000 extra for the tournament.
