We need housing now! Why tie this up?! The traffic is bad everywhere. The same old excuses and complaints that tried to kill Sherwood Crossing and other developments. Did they think that this land was going to stay this way? Dumb as stumps they are!!

I can see an IRAC appeall!!!

Traffic in Charlottetown is busy here/there it is not bad. Has anyone ever driven in Hallifax/Toronto/Boston at 4pm. My finance and I drove from Summerside to Charlottetown to the mall yesterday at 4:30 to 5 pm. There were cars around but we drove the speed limit or more the whole way and it did not take us 3 cycles or anything to get through any lights. i have been on North River Road and it can get lined up for a while, but the few times I have driven on that road at rush hour the line moves. I have rarely been at a stand still and for a minute/two at most not 10 or 15. Another lane is needed on a road or two , but for space reasons this is not always possible
Compared to 10/ 15 years ago there is many more cars, however, to me it is manageable most of the time. Tourists/construction may impact numbers in the summer, however, if you live in a large city most people would be happy to have Charlottetown's traffic headaches.
