i have always liked those Brill trolley buses; they have a cool look to them for sure. my earliest memory of transit is when i rode the B-Line down No. 3 Rd in Richmond when they opened those new bus lanes which were later removed for the Canada-Line.

Somewhere in Surrey or Langley, location won't be public until after the land acquisition is finalized.

Maybe this lot next to Highway 15 could do. well not the entire lot, but a portion of it could be used as OMC5.

176 is the road aligned with the west end of Barnston Island,
and there's a green patch on the map where it intersects with Fraser Hwy.

Yeah it's part of the ALR and there's no way an OMC would be considered agricultural and be allowed. They briefly allowed golf courses (there's one almost next door to this and another not far away) but that's been a no-go for quite awhile now, and it's a lot closer to agricultural.

The alignment in Langley will run along Industrial Ave. before ending up at the 203 St station. I would expect an OMC on the north side of Industrial Ave. since this area is already zoned for that purpose and has a few parcels that have relatively low buildup. Everywhere else along the line is residential, strip malls, ALR, or parkland.

Could also build something near Scott Road station in the industrial area there, however that's unlikely.

Langley has way too much land in the ALR, and it is not heavily farmed or productive. If this land is to be protected, they should have some conditions for how the farm operates, so at least it's providing some value other than taking up way more land than should be in an urban area with a land shortage...

Ha the ALR's around Langley/Surrey are very productive. They usually have a massive monster home with 13+ rooms, and multiple sheds that are actually illegal housing suites for TFW's with large greenhouse like structures housing trucks and containers that leech contaminates into the soil. That or blueberries that require lots of pesticides and noise cannons.

Overheard: they are a year behind schedule.. Trains will run every 15 mins for the Langley stretch for around 2 years because there are supply issues with the trains and they are more focused on getting stations and tracks built.
