Btw Hai Dai Lau closes 300+ restaurants in China, may be they are also rethinking the Brentwood location. Again not a beep heard from that spot which is super prime location, rent must be horrendous.

I was thinking that the proposed franchisee may have run into financial trouble due to the pandemic, and backed out, so Jinya would have to find a new franchisee, which may be difficult with a reduced number of people dining during the pandemic.
The Jinya downtown on Robson is always packed.
Is there steady traffic through the restaurants at Brentwood these days?
If not, maybe the franchisee backed out due to word from other restaurant operators who have opened up at TAB.
