Now that US culture no longer gets filtered through sources like TV/radio (regulated) and newspapers/magazines (edited), the rate at which it "seeps" into Canada has accelerated. We get it straight from the source on our phones now via Youtube, social media, etc.
That is harmless when it comes to things like hip hop music and fashion, but it can be a little more insidious when it comes to the more fringe elements of American society like the Q lunatics, antivaxers, the extreme woke mobs, etc.
