Host cities would get multiple games. There will be 80 matches in the 2026 tournament, played in 16 cities. that averages to 5 matches per city.

Why wouldn't they have access to cars? international travelers rent cars and use Uber.
Philly's access to the Linc is definitely better than the other cities access to their stadiums, but let's not think that travelers can *only* use trains to get there. Trains may be preferred, but let's not overstate it.

I wish septa would use that lower platform for its original intended purpose, which was to have additional trains serve super-crowded events in the complex. But that lower platform has not been used for that in a very long time, has been a storage area for decades. Maybe they would activate it for the World Cup, but I doubt it. I hope I'm wrong about that. And as long as they're at it, they should renovate the station so that it does not look like a time capsule from 1973.
