A different angle from Vancouver. Burnaby and Surrey skylines are in the background as well Mt. Baker (US) (if I got that correctly, I'm never too confident about calling it Mt. Baker if I'm not there in person lol).

The only issue with Toronto Star building is how it meets the street. That's very fixable. The Toronto Star building is actually a welcomed break from all the glass that's going up around it. Unfortunately, they're going to wreck it soon.

The real problem down there are those 4 Harbourfont apartment blocks. There's absolutely nothing one can do to make it better besides imploding all 4 of them.

Agree. I can't stand Maritime Centre. Alot of cities seem to have their big mistake and this is Halifax's. It's even worse when one considers they knocked down the Capitol Theatre to build it. Efforts to save it failed. The theatre was destroyed it in 1974. Maritime Centre has been a blight on Halifax ever since. They need to tear it down.

Sorry if I've posted this one before. Ottawa skyline from above Lincoln Fields station, looking east towards Westboro, Tunney's and Downtown.

Very, very few North American cities have an area of built density similar to Old Montreal. Lower Manhattan, central Boston... is that it? Philly is on the grid and has a more traditional, early-20th style commercial area, Chicago is too new...

For phase 1 of CIBC Square, the reflection off the windows I thought seemed kind of cool but then I realized it was kind of a distraction to me when looking at a couple of these pics. I didn't realize it would have that effect. I assume that will only happen seldom and only from the rare angle like in those photos. And it looks like a telephoto lens was used as the skyline is not that big and prominent from this spot I'm pretty sure.

Neither did I but, ya the reflection on that tower changes constantly so if you don't like it like that I'm sure 20 minutes later it would look completely different.
