Has the Kanata extension been costed yet? Just looking at the proposed map it's going to be insanely expensive. Perhaps moreso than Barrhaven.
There are tons of grade separations needed and (count 'em) 8 stations planned right now.
8 stations just for little old Kanata.
For the sake of comparison, the first segment of the Confederation Line, that runs from Blair in what was once North Gloucester, through the east end of the city, across downtown, and then across part of the west end to Tunney's, has just 13 stations.
