Wow.. Still having a hard time with actual facts and Knowledge i see. No worries. Let me educate you
Harper not only approved of the Northern Gateway pipeline (that only died when Trudeau cancelled it) he also approved Keystone XL (which only failed because Obama cancelled it) He also approved and presided over the reversal of line 9, the vital pipeline that now supplies up to 80% of Quebec's fuel needs with Western Canadian oil. He also approved and saw to the completion of Enbridge line 67 (Clipper) from Alberta to Wisconsin. Moreover, he presided over the construction and completion of the original Keystone pipeline albeit this one having been previously approved by a Liberal government. In addition, he pre-approved of line 3 from Alberta to the lake head which like TM is a much-needed replacement of an existing line which has been held up by anti-pipeline forces in both Canada and the U.S. Harper also ensured the full construction of the Canadian portion of Line 3. So, Kelly, Harper did get four pipelines completely built - Clipper, Line 9 reversal, original Keystone and Canadian portion of Line 3. That he didn't get the other projects completed was for no lack of trying and any fault to be attributed to his other approved pipelines can only be laid at the feet of the said Justin Trudeau.
This was the status of the last Liberal Parliament where it came to environmental hacks....
The Prime Minister’s former Chief of Staff was Gerald Butts, the former President of the World Wildlife Fund Canada, and a strong supporter of the Oil Sands Campaign. The Chief of Staff to Catherine McKenna (Minister of Environment and Climate Change Canada) was Marlo Raynolds, formerly Senior Advisor and Executive Director of the Pembina Institute, and a supporter of the Oil Sands Campaign. The Chief of Staff to Amarjeet Sohi (Minister of Natural Resources Canada) was Zoë Caron, formerly the President of the Sierra Club Canada and Specialist at World Wildlife Fund - Canada, and both supporters of the Tar Sands Campaign. The Senior Policy Advisor to Trudeau on energy and the environment was Sarah Goodman, formerly the VP of Tides Canada and, both supporters of the Tar Sands Campaign. When Kinder Morgan asked to meet with the Trudeau government, they were often passed off to Zoë Caron (former president of the Sierra Club) and Sarah Goodman (Director, Policy in the Prime Minister’s Office and former Senior Vice President of Tides Canada) .
If anyone thinks Trudeau had any intention of permitting any new pipelines you haven’t been paying attention lol. Liberals! Anti Canadian...Anti business...Anti freedom of speech.
