^that is my understanding of the site to ensure all still works from the parkade side of things and structurally.

There were discussions between the two developers, along with the City, to ensure that all would be in harmony.

Well, if I can be frank, considering how the city continues to generally produce sub-par product, doesn't that say something about all of the parties involved and citizens' seeming acceptance of same?

And to show that I'm not just hammering on Edmonton, now that I think of it, most of the suburban product in Montreal is a sad sea of mediocrity and obvious cheapening-out. How is it that stuff like that still gets built in this day and age, is my question.

But enough of tilting at windmills today. Hopefully I'll get back to Edmonton soon and get to tour around and see what else is up.

Thanks!
Delayed until we get some pre-leasing done so our financing can kick in. We're working on something, so we'll see.

I'm curious about the distance between the adjacent building and any civic design requirements for blank walls to diminish the fishbowl effect.

Sssooo, Ian - when are we gonna see another building break ground? Falcon has been in pre-sales for 2 years, the Shift - are they waiting to see if the West Valley actually breaks ground? What about the 10 million proposals out there? Btw, I noticed on Pangman's website that the "Bateman" proposal is down to being a 6 story, rather than 2 X 12's.

Falcon is still moving forward I am told after speaking with the developer a week ago.

Shift is still going, but might be delayed a little bit due to capital markets/WLRT construction utilites/Park construction/etc.

Park View, unless something has recently changed (which is possible), is to be in the ground later this summer.

I suspect that we might see action at the former BMO site on 101/102 with Regency.

Bateman has been/is being revised.

Hoping that we see Clancy go in 2020, but more likely in 2021.

The ALT + deal with MacKenzie is dead.

The Milner on 104st with westcorp is moving forward, but there is a lot of remediation to do.

I could see another office->rental conversion take place.

Surprised Alt hasn't managed to get an Edmonton operation yet, they're in most larger CMA (including Saskatoon and Winnipeg). Do they only purpose build?

That all sounds really positive...thx for the pick-me-up!

Park View this summer eh? Didn't see that coming.

Rental on 123st and Jasper - apparently that had some legs I heard.

Milner? What's that one again?

Perhaps we should talk about being acute

The Zebra Parkade tower is a bit of everything popular these days, not as offensive as Ken, but I am still a bit concerned about that tower spacing.

How does the Falcon get to be so close to the property line? Seems to me they should move their building a few feet.

I for one did not know there was going to be a tower of that height just north of Falcon. Imagine not knowing this, and purchasing pre-sale a Falcon condo facing north? Yikes, there goes ice district views (kind-of). 100%, they'll reconsider.

25m is negotiable.

What about Kenney's $10B spend on "infrastructure and hospital facilities?" Think this will kick start the South Hospital or at best re-kindle the Super Lab?
