Anyway now I know. Thanks.

Edit 2: Never mind, that's actually Marshall Park, not Callander.
Which is in North Bay.
I wasn't arguing with you. I was trying to figure out where you meant as this would be the first of it going that far south.

No worries, I knew you weren’t. I just underestimated how far south Callander is from North Bay.

For 2-6, I forgot the specific segments that still only have 2 lanes so I lumped them together.
1. Renfrew to Arnprior
2. T Bay - Nipigon Corridor
3. Highway 69 - not sure what the status of negotiation with the FNs along the route is, as the sections to be completed run through 3 of them. That could be a major holdup, as it was with the 400 south of Parry Sound.
4. Kenora (6 km)

The list below is not happening in the near future. These are decades away. Design, property acquisition and utility/rail relocations have to happen first.

SSM to Espanola
Espanola to Denlou
Lively to Markstay-Warren
Callander (North Bay) to Mattawa

Not even around Sudbury or east of North Bay? Weren't the designs already done a long time ago? For North Bay - Matawa corridor, I can see how property acquisition will be problematic, but Sudbury...

Maybe. I thought there had been some local controversy about the closing of certain access points on the Southwest Bypass.

Even if it is designed, I don't think it would be high up on the list. Maybe 3rd or 4th.

I really hope that MTO at least closes the gap between Lively and Highway 69. Maybe MTO can concern itself with extending the 400 through the FN's first. Once that's done, it can bundle the remainder through Richards Lake and that 11 km of Highway 17 as a single project.

After weighing both routes, and taking one of them from Quebec to Manitoba in winter, I just voted in this poll (for Route 11).

Does anyone know the approximate location of the nuclear waste site near Ignace? I am trying to look at where the TCH bypass should go and the location of the waste site may affect where the bypass can go.

Warning: I take perverted pleasure in shoehorning freeways through lightly built-up area. Examples include Vermillion Bay, Dinorwic, Ignace, Upsala, Nipigon, Pays Plat, Schreiber, Wawa and Jone's Landing (Lake Superior East Shore).

Charges are laid against the mother of 5, 3 of whom died in that crash.

That was a month ago... Not really surprised.

Uh oh... M.T.O. isn't ready to twin Highway 17 near Kenora yet.

It’s some interesting technology that M.T.O.’s playing with.

@swimmer_spe and I decided that I should focus on getting the route done for NWO first (because he is very dissatisfied with my work on NEO lol). Seen here is my proposal for between K town and Willard Lake. I'm wondering if anyone who's familiar with the geology in NWO can help me out. Many thanks!

Why would a PC government put something in NDP territory?

Michael Gravelle (M.P.P. of T Bay - Lake Superior North) is liberal. You can’t blanket-assume that every riding in the north is NDP.

Your point probably still stands though. In that case, PC better gets the shovel ready for the stretch between Whiteshell and Highway 673. Otherwise, when the liberals return (possibly in 2022)...

Bref, just because financial resources are scarce, is it really necessary to pitch the two against one another...
