yea they have signs up for whats opening soon and the exterior signage for them is done. Roots is moving into the new part. Chachis and their food hall is opening in the old part near japadog.

I went on sunday and Movado was not open, but went again on Monday and Movado was open.

Also Fossil is either opening a second store or is moving and will be in a new spot next to Victoria's Secret near centre court.

Nordstrom will finally open a Rack location in British Columbia, at a renovated Willowbrook next spring, per Vancouver Sun:

It's exciting to see Nordstrom getting this much heart outside of Seattle. The company could be doing better. I wonder if the new store opening soon in Manhattan will be the top store for sales. It would certainly enhance their portfolio even more and bring Nordstrom to the next level.

the new Safeway At Austin Heights in Coquitlam opens September 12.

Where La Senza was in Pac Centre part of it will be a Rogers store. H&M still has no escalators. A softmoc is opening down near the sephora end.

The Miniso on granville near robson is 60% off and half the store is closed off now.

Bigger pond with a lot more and bigger fish to compete with. I am curious how they'll do there.

Post from 2016 (before Sears closed) - not sure if this is still the plan, but there's only one anchor area with a chamfered corner...

No that plan isn't going forward now.

It seems when sky train was announced they paused everything

Also, looks like winners is opening up in the mall as well. Guess the one down the road will close. Winners is also opening up in semiahmoo mall.

Retail Insider posted Willowbrook images in Jan 2018 that look identical to the ones listed below. The only change I've seen is having a bus loop in part of the parking at the lower left of the image - because they're planning on having a Skytrain station at 196th and Fraser Hwy.

I think they changed their expansion plans after Sears left a huge spot that had to be redeveloped. The mall itself wasn't that full the last time I was in there, quite a few empty spots.

More likely they'll redevelop that portion of the mall and wait for Skytrain to do a larger multi-use development down the road.

They have one in oakridge too. The one store I really miss is Nood that had a store in Gastown and at the old a&b sound space next to Metrotown.
