This development site is immediately to the west of the Landmark on Robson. You can see the stump of the mostly demolished Landmark in the background of the pic below.

^^ Still surprised this one doesn't have its own thread given its unique design and structure.

Either way being at grade it's going to get interesting now.

As ana side, I heard the owners of the terracotta strata building at far right of the first pic finally agreed and sold out to a developer. It's the one next to the Gabriola mansion.

Looks like this one will be curtain wall (like the west side of The Cardero).
You can see that there isn't enough slab in front of the columns for window wall to sit on.
So I guess they'll do like they did at Cardero and grind out notches for the curtain wall?

Rather sad in a way, I thought it was kinda pretty. Oh well, that's business.

If it's 401 West Georgia, wouldn't it be 400 Dunsmuir?

I cannot, for the life of me, find the render for 402 Dunsmuir. I want to judge its progress online .

See officedweller's old post below. It was referred to as 401 West Georgia initially.

Looks great - looks English for some reason - maybe being next to the cathedral.

Good to see they are not attaching it to the older building.
That'll create a courtyard between the two (albeit dark).

Here's a comparison of it's current state to the rendering.

I could be wrong about this, but seeing 402 Dunsmuir quite a bit, and looking at the recent pictures, I'm not convinced that the glass is tinted at all. It looks more like triple glazed naturally coloured glass (so a darker green) but set into the projecting black frames it looks darker. There may be some sort of slightly reflective coating, but you can actually see into the interior space quite easily - much more so than on 401 W Georgia which has a dark blue/grey tint.

I'm hoping they're getting rid of the dark glass on the West Georgia podium restaurant space, where the new plaza is being built. It'll make the building much more inviting.

It looks like different glass on these renderings
(mullions are different (3 equal height panes) from the existing ones (2 tall and one short)).
