Probably this.
I've heard from enough for Winnipeggers who pursued opportunities elsewhere how fed up they were with the envy/negativity.
Despite this, I think most people kinda think very fondly of Richardsons, Chipmans, Artis etc and probably would listend. Since all are Winnipeggers, they don't come across like flaky Torontonian bankers looking to take advantage of people.
I hope they all rally a bit more next time.
