Let's heed Xelebes' guidance please.

On a related note, I've seen other forums where users can simply click a "like" or "thumbs up" button on great posts. I have not seen that on SSP - not sure if I'm not looking in the right place or if indeed the software on which SSP runs doesn't have this option. If it is an option the administrators can turn on, it could reduce the number of "nice pics" posts that often unnecessarily quote many images.
There's rarely anything to like on here anymore, but boy some users would get great use out of that when those mansion pics come back.

Great pics and avatars!!

Interesting they want us to spoiler when quoting photos yet that option doesn't exist in the message post area, you have to type in your own. Not everyone will know how to do that.

Great photos Tarsus of the street level, but I will say that some of these places are drastically different when it becomes dark. It is a general challenge with public spaces, but I think better landscape architecture and lighting is helping a lot.

Nobody getting stabbed? Are you sure that’s the beltline?

One of my favourite inner city spots is Poppy Plaza. Views of the river and downtown are great. Not a needle in sight.

This may be an added consideration for people with families versus single people. We know from census data that there is a massive skew towards singles in apartments / condos. Choosing to play golf in lightening is easier to do when you don't have responsibilities I guess. You have a child, and my recollection is that you do not live in a condo - so there you go.

That can’t possibly be the Beltline. It looks civilized and vibrant and interesting.

This pic is awesome. Sadly most suburbanites probably don’t even know what Beakerhead is and even if they did and wanted to go they’d be too scared to get out of their cars.

I live in a house over a condo right now because my dog has health issues and has nothing to do with having a child or children. Once my old dog is no longer with us we're going back to condo life!

Have you seen any changes in Bridgeland over the time you've stayed there?

Also, what's wrong with an older dog with health issues being in a condo?

I've never lived in Bridgeland, but it's really evolving.

At times her meds make her need to go out multiple times in the night. She also isn't friendly with other dogs, so elevators and other dogs mean lunch. We had a year of that while living out east so bought a house when moving back.

No value in those comments Nick. This is the type of pissing match post that moderators have been asking everyone to stop. Take a look at Xelebes post below and consider what s/he's pointing out.

That was a shitty thing to do. I'm looking at you Bad Grizzly.

On the other hand, people who needle those who are looking for new construction in the suburbs. You need to stop too. I don't care if you are trying to sell downtown living. It's counter-productive and it is drowning this thread. And then you want to complain that this is going downhill, take a pause and think that you could actually be discussing new construction. There is a lot of small bits of construction going on, even in these doldrums that you could put your attention to it.

On the toipic of whether Beltline is shitty or not, stop. You've been trolled and now you can stop.

I didn't see the date - sorry about that. My comment that they've posted various aerial photos was not incorrect though. While a pinch old, might still be interesting to some:

Says the guy with 5,000 pissing match posts. Come on man, don't make me sift through all 5233 to highlight them.
