Just looked at the Rhapsody construction video from January 13th, which I had posted. Can definitely see the August site in it. They were just starting digging at that point, so the excavators have clearly been working hard!

Feel free to direct the SRC folks here as they didn't have that video when I put it up.

I’m pretty sure nobody from SRC is going to come here for better construction updates. You tell them yourself.

You know you could have just given the update without mentioning that it was from Skyrisecities.

Exactly. Even worse are those knobs who answer a question by posting a link to some thread at SRC. Get over yourself.

What’s SRC? Where’s the link?

I think it's fair (not necessary, but fair) to say the info came from Skyrise if the info that isn't yours and you want to reference the source of the info.

I agree with Bad Grizzly, we don't need to post a link back to SRC. We've already lost a lot of members to src, no need to promote it.

That walled city looks like something out of Star Wars....after a battle. The ironic part is I’m not sure what’s worse the walled city or the newer buildings around it.

But the people in the City Discussion forum claim that these form of cities and urban areas are the best cities ever built and it's just evil cars that forced people away from living naturally in closet sized tenements on top of each other.

The people in that section are 100% idealists....or simply lack common sense. It’s a fine line between the two.
I’ve read through the thread a few times in the past and it felt like I was in the twilight zone. Always good for a laugh though.

I checked out that thread once and that was enough. Everyone there has a hate on for cars and think they cars are eventually going to disappear lol.

Cars aren’t going anywhere, maybe they’ll change to electric, but they aren’t going anywhere. The people in that thread are same type of dumbasses who want to change the default speed limit to 30km/h.

That is completely gross You just know that every single person who lives in those complexes would love to live in a suburban single-family home if they could.

There seems to be a real push by several developers for 4-plex row housing! It's pretty bonkers what the asking prices are.

Units in this 4-plex are starting at $799,900! I think they really missed on this one (though the interior and square footage makes up for it somewhat).
Any idea what the square footage is? Looks like it would be a lot but if the space is over three floors why not just buy a house? The design is horrible--something you'd expect to see for units costing $200K not $800K+.

On MLS, is says 2000sf, so the units are larger then most 4-plexes...

The inside does look nice and there's lot of space for a family. No idea just how good the location is but the exterior design is going to turn off a lot of people.

Because a house of similar size, not even new is $1.4M.

Those are exactly the same type of people. The whole thing with the speed limit was really a thinly veiled war on cars, and nothing else. The one pushing it ( Duh Farrell) is known for anti-car stance.

There’s an easy solution to that. Don’t waste your money, and overpay by buying a house in Altadore. There are thousands of houses all over the city for that same square footage for a third of the price

Anyone suckers out there who feel like shelling out 800k for a crammed little row home with no yard? What a joke

Excellent examples of how the inner city sucks balls for housing. This is exactly what I’ve been talking about.
