"Rental is commercial, not residential" is a new one. And definitely up there with "this is a family neighbourhood -- no more apartments/condos" in terms of an easy Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms challenge. Like, would you care to tell me how you think the City should zone people?

Meanwhile, the new residents association in the Glenwood neighbourhood of old St. Vital is appealing every single approved variance application for new development in their neighbourhood. Everywhere you go, white baby boomers are on it!
